Aviva employee pilot – Roost Smart Water Leak and Freeze Detectors
Aviva are offering selected existing Aviva staff members the opportunity to get a free Roost Water Leak Detector (WLD). By ordering a Roost WLD, you will be contracting directly with Roost Inc. Ordering and using the Roost WLD will be subject to Roost Inc. terms and conditions which you need to read and understand before you place your order. You can read the terms and conditions here.
We will receive information from Roost Inc about the trial, which we will use to learn more about the Roost WLD, how customers react to any alerts and how Roost WLD devices could help our customers in the future. We won’t use any of the data in relation to your home insurance policy or premium.
By volunteering to help test the product you are agreeing to set it up in your home, download and use the Roost app and provide feedback on the product/user experience when asked. Feedback requests will consist of, but not necessarily be limited to, a post-distribution survey around 14 days from despatch of your device as well as a user experience survey from the Aviva team responsible for the trial once you have had your device set up for around a month.
There are limited numbers of Roost WLD devices available and they will be allocated to eligible applicants on a first come first serve basis.
While we expect you to be happy with the Roost WLD, in the event of any problems with it, Aviva has no liability in respect of the device, the actions of Roost Inc or their products or services. It is therefore very important that you read the Roost Inc. terms and conditions which sets out their obligations and liability.
When you receive your Roost WLD, please ensure the packaging is intact and has not been tampered with. If you have any concerns please do not set-up the device and contact us at avivafutures@aviva.com stating you are part of the Roost trial. You can also contact this mailbox if, at any point, you wish to return your device and cease your involvement in the trial.
