Who is eligible?
ANYONE! Your agency is able to offer ONE free Smart Water Leak & Freeze Detector per HOUSEHOLD. This pilot does not require the Customer to be an ERIE Policyholder. (Excluding Customers in MD & NY)
The only requirements are that they have a smartphone and accessible Wi-Fi in the residence that the detector will be located in.
What’s the purpose?
The purpose of the detector is to help Customers detect a water event in their home. The detector also monitors changes in temperature and humidity.
ERIE has a vested interested in our Customers; we believe this detector can be successful in helping them avoid or minimize damage caused by water or temperature changes.
- At the present time, ERIE is studying the possibility of reducing rates or offering additional discounts for installing the detector or similar devices.
- The data we receive in this pilot will help ERIE determine our approach going forwards.
Is the detector hard to install?
Installation is simple & only requires you have a Smartphone and Wi-Fi in your home.
Is there a fee associated with monitoring the detector?
No, there is no monthly or subscription fee
How do I sign up my Agency to participate in the pilot?

How can my customers purchase more?
Customers can visit shop.getroost.com/discount/ERIE to purchase additional devices at ERIE’s discounted rate of $40.00 before taxes and shipping. Please note: the discount will be taken off the purchase price at checkout.
