Farmers Protective Mutual Insurance is offering smart sensor kits that include a smart water leak and freeze detector and a smart 9V battery to your customers to help them avoid damages in their home. These detectors help catch little problems before they become big problems.
Who is eligible?
Anyone with an active home insurance policy from Farmers Protective Mutual Insurance.
Policyholder requirements:
- Wi-Fi network where devices are to be used
- Apple or Android smartphone with a recent operating system
- 9V smoke/CO alarm

What will happen once you sign up your customer?
- After you register them on the web page fpmutual.getroost.com/agent-1/:
- Roost will ship the smart sensor kit the next day
- Roost will send an email to your customer with a USPS tracking code when the devices ship
- Your customer will receive them in 5-7 business days
- Your customer will also receive an email and SMS from Roost with instructions to:
- Download the Farmers Protective Mutual Insurance app from the app store (Apple or Google).
- Create their account in the app
- They will receive Roost devices in the mail after the order is placed
- When they receive their devices, they need to set up the leak detectors by connecting them to their Wi-Fi network following the instructions in the package
- Then, place their leak detectors where they are concerned about possible water leaks
